A Lifelong Commitment to Care: The Journey of Dr. Tana Robinson
Dr. Tana Robinson, a proud Clay County native, began her path in healthcare with a passion that sparked early and never faded. After graduating from Orange Park High School in 1980, she entered the nursing field at just 17, working as a nursing assistant and planting the seeds of a remarkable career in service.
Her dedication led her to St. Augustine Tech, where she earned her LPN in 1994, followed by an RN degree from FCCJ in 2001. Never one to stop growing, Dr. Robinson obtained her BSN from the University of Phoenix in 2006, then advanced her expertise through the prestigious Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing, completing her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008. She returned to Frontier with a vision to lead, earning her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2013.
With a diverse clinical background spanning Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Gastroenterology, Dr. Robinson brings decades of knowledge and compassion to every patient encounter. Now an autonomous practitioner, she has founded Healthcare ExtraOrdinare—a primary care practice dedicated to empowering patients through personalized care, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and clear, compassionate education about health and medications.
Board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Dr. Robinson is not only a healer—she’s an inspiration. Her journey reflects resilience, lifelong learning, and an unshakable commitment to serve her community with excellence.
